Saying Goodbye to an Old Friend

Vogue came into our lives when my next door died about 5 years ago. Her husband thought he might try and sell him, but he ended up as a "gift horse" to us and became a part of our family. Vogue let me know last week that it is time for him to move on. Although his eyes are still bright and his attitude still spunky, his 30 year old body just can't continue on. I've made the arrangements for him and he will move on this Wednesday. I took this picture this afternoon - this is my son Caleb with Vogue. He will be missed.

It's Good To Be Home

My day job is working as an Information Assurance Analyst ... apparently I help make our network more secure. Today was a serious grind! It's just good to be home : )
